Is Calling Out The Lies of Today's Political Climate Spiritual?
The law of acceptance is a universal law which people skate around or blatantly ignore. Some, if not the majority of people who are unaccountable for their own lives, are the ones who are quick to condemn others for theirs. To be accountable is to accept yourself and others for what is the absolute truth. When the truth is not revealed, acceptance is challenging. We see this play out within our political climate. False facts and articles are fishing their way into media, and people are falling for them hook, line and sinker! Why? Lies are more easily swallowed than the truth, easier to lie than admit fault, easier to blame than to take accountability, easier to be angry than forgiving, and easier to be lazy and follow the pack than to formulate their own opinions. On the flip side, those that are truth seekers can not accept those that confirm falsehoods and may often turn to hateful and belittling behavior to prove their points. Knowledge is power...yes...but for some, a slippery slope to accepting others for who they are.
Americans love to receive, they also love to blow everything out of proportion. Bigger portions, larger homes, grander televisions... a nation stuck in the "super size me" mentality. Even those who can't afford the finer things are bred to believe that having them is the definition of success. The American dream is in fact that, a dream. A concept created by a system of corrupt economic greed....a marketing ploy. Fake news! It stands to reason that the concept of the American dream is as convoluted as 45s "Make America Great Again'. They both are intangible concepts devoid of fact that place an ideal within the minds of Americans that encourages the belief.... "I am not enough and who you are isn't either!' A bigot will comprehend Trump's slogan as the ultimate hashtag to blame other races for America's fall from greatness. The concept of the American dream, "be all that you can be", triggers inadequacy and narcissism. Point being, as people are waking up to the concept of acceptance they are forced to uncover truths, inner, outer, political and global!
Stop Trolling Facebook!
Facebook has lapsed further into a void of hate and drama ever since Trump became elected...to be expected. The amount of people posting their opinions is at an all time high. Nearly 50 percent all posts are political in nature and geared towards swaying opinion. The facts: Rantic polled 10,000 Facebook users and found that, by and large, political posts were extremely unlikely to change anyone's political views. 94 percent of Republicans, 92 percent of Democrats, and 85 percent of Independents said they'd never changed their view of an issue based on a Facebook post, yet they were likely to annoy and inspire them to unfriend their friends. These posts are not meant to unite but to destroy and separate. Facebook is a bowl of candy for the lack of acceptance and the false claims "look at me" culture that has been created in this country.
"We are all entitled to our opinions, but if you don't agree with me than you are wrong!"
"We are all created equal, unless you are black, brown, gay, trans......"
You are inherently wrong! Not your post, not your stance...you! The issue is, those who are unable to bear the truth are the problem across the board; universe, world, country, home, family and self. Lies will create lies (the law of cause and effect) and separation. To stand by and accept these lies as normal is in fact impossible (unless you are brainwashed), remember to accept is to befriend radical truth. The radical truth is, people stay asleep in this world, afraid of what they may see if they truly open their inner eye! We need to accept this as a reality to practice what we preach, yes, but we do not have to stand for it.
Spirituality is about truth seeking and is often followed by standing up for what is believed in, yet only spiritually centered when the cause is aligned in effecting the greatest good of women and mankind. Does your belief create or destroy? Condemn or love? Include or outcast? What we put out creates energy and substance. Think, are you contributing to the greater good of your cause by burning others at the stake? Every nasty comment or belittling word is a piece of kindling ready to be engulfed in the flames created by the conscious action of those they point at..cause and effect. Fighting for human/civil rights, equality, against hypocrisy, freedom and social Justice is on the positive side of the spiritual spectrum...promoting change for the greater good. We can not sit down in acceptance of perceived evil, we must pick up swords and become the warriors of truth! Living in illusion is not a sin, knowing we are and using it for our own personal gain is! Who cares what your agenda is, but who cares if this agenda is based on lies... truth seekers and often authorities. Cults are created by gas lighting and the dissalusuiinment of congregation. It is a spiritual practice to have an opinion, but an opinion based upon the ignorance of fact contributes to the ignorance of our higher consciousness. Ignorance is what caused Hitler to act so heinously. Ignorance cusses war, homophobia, greed, corruption....and the list goes on and on. Ignoring life is the way to peace....said no one! One might think it can create bliss, well it can because being asleep feels good.. until you are forced to wake up in midair without a golden parachute.
The universe is designed to resolve itself; to bring about a state of balance and harmony. Like a musical chord progression returning to its root. Facts are facts, music is mathematical (which is the ultimate truth). If you believe 1 + 1 = 7 or that a C chord is made up of the notes f# A and B flat, it will become your reality. Being this is universally false, a cognitive distortion is created. The universe calculates this as an imbalance and will do whatever it has to bring harmony (the universal law of balance), with no time limit and most often by bazaar and or catastrophic events. A single lie can create large scale dissolution. For example, the governmental and mass denial of global warming is creating a world that will be uninhabitable sooner than we think. Glaciers breaking apart, animal species becoming extinct, fires ravaging entire continents, temperatures and water levels are rising all with scientific, mathematical truth linking the cause being ignorance, to the effect....destruction. The world is imbalanced and will regain harmony no matter how devastating to the existence of humankind. Harmony is truth, nor fair nor kind.
So to sum up, is calling someone out on their lies or ignorance within today's political dilemma spiritually accepted...yes, 10s across the board! Using spirituality as a vessel to spread false positivity or to ignore truths is shameful. To rid the world of toxins is to suck out the poison bit by bit, person by person. Most people have no idea that they are sick so it may take a braver soul to intervene...not to suck out the toxins for them but to give them the knowledge so they may awaken to the truth and do it for themselves.. thus becoming the change they wish to see in the world. Some will get there, others will go down with the ship.
A lesson: An article posted on social media with the power to manipulate..mascerading as truth should be called out! Not the person posting it....the article. That person may be asleep, but those wothout sin cast the first stone! Judge not by the person, but by the validity of what he or she is saying and more importantly..the actions taken because of their beliefs. A cause creates a belief system and most often this cause in an inevitable action fueled by the subconsciousness of the greater world. People by nature are good. It is not about who we are, but what happened to us that created such a false belief to thrive and the choices we can make in guiding the planet and its inhabitants into the greater balance.
